Mental health is central to a healthy, engaged life. Our Occupational Therapists support re-engagement in meaningful daily activities and roles for clients experiencing chronic pain, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mental health conditions.

Our team of Mental Health OT’s are ready to help you re-engage in those aspects of your life that matter to you. Whether you are diagnosed with Chronic Pain, ADHD, PTSD, Anxiety Disorder or Depression we are here to help you.

Our clinicians are trained in a range of evidence-based treatment approaches, including Behavioural Activation, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) including Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Whether a client’s goal is to return to valued daily activities or successfully transition back to work, our OTs help clients understand their symptoms and build practical, effective coping strategies within the natural environments and communities in which they live.

Using a client-centred, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed approach, our team is committed to supporting clients in reclaiming a full and satisfying life.

Our OT team provides:

  • Evidence-based support for emotional regulation, mood changes, and trauma that may be affecting clients’ daily lives and relationships
  • Psychoeducation to help clients better understand their mental health and develop practical coping strategies
  • In Vivo Exposure Therapy to safely and gradually reduce avoidance of activities, places, or other triggers that increase anxiety or PTSD symptoms.
  • Behavioural Activation to support re-engagement in meaningful and valued daily activities
  • Gradual Return to Work (GRTW) planning, coaching, and ongoing support
  • Stay at Work (SAW) strategies to help clients maintain success and balance in their work roles
  • Collaboration and communication with clients’ broader health care and support teams
